Fr. Creighton C. McElveen, SSC

Fr. Creighton serves as the pastor of St Stephen’s. He was ordained a priest in 2021 and has served in several parishes in the Atlanta Metro area. He grew up living in Australia, Germany, and the United States. Fr. Creighton is married to Margaret Ann McElveen, a Certified Nurse Midwife. They have a son named Graham. Fr. C holds a B.A. in Intellectual History and Philosophy from Kennesaw State University, an M.A. in Theology, and additional coursework in Sacred Theology from St Joseph’s College. He is a member of the Society of Mary, the Guild of All Souls, a Trustee of the Society of King Charles the Martyr, and a member of the Society of the Holy Cross (SSC). He enjoys rock climbing (his lifelong passion), talking theology and philosophy, reading, coffee, and a good cup of tea.

Susan has lived in the Athens area for 20+ years and has been a member of St. Stephen's for most of that time.  She graduated for the University of Georgia with a BBA in Real Estate and has held numerous administrative positions throughout her career.  She and her husband, Mark, currently live in Statham and have 2 grown children, Alex and Paige.

William F. Coscarelli is the Director of Music (Organist/Choir Director) for St. Stephen’s Anglican Church. He has held this position since the fall of 1994. For twenty-seven years William (Bill) served as Head of Music Collections for the University of Georgia Libraries from September 1986 until his retirement in April of 2013. William holds bachelors and masters degrees in organ performance from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and Syracuse University, and a Master of Library Science degree from Louisiana State University. Other interests include cooking, reading science fiction literature, movies of all sorts, and most recently he has taken an interest in bowling. In March of 2014, William moved from Athens to Norcross, GA and commutes to St. Stephen’s on Sundays for service and choir rehearsal and at any other times his services are needed.

Meghan has been a vital part of the children's lives at St. Stephen's for many years. She and her husband, Rob, moved to Athens from Atlanta over eight years ago. While living in Atlanta, she had the privilege of nannying three precious little boys for about five years. Shortly after relocating to the Classic City, Meghan became pregnant with her oldest child, Emma. She is also mother to baby boy Everett. During the week, while Rob teaches at Athens Tech, she enjoys being home with the children, frequenting local parks and libraries, and spending time with their community of friends.

Archbishop Haverland is the Archbishop and Metropolitan of the Anglican Catholic Church and the Bishop Ordinary for the Diocese of the South, which has its offices at St. Stephen's Pro-Cathedral. In addition to an intense travel schedule which takes him throughout the US and around the world, the Archbishop teaches a mid-week Bible study and assists with daily Masses at St. Stephen's as his schedule allows.

Archbishop Haverland holds an MA from Duquesne University and a Ph.D from Duke University. He is also the founding rector of St. Stephen's, having served as rector in the parish for more than 20 years before becoming Bishop.
